Roberta Gherardi graduated in Illustration from the European Institute of Design in Milan in 1996.She has over 25 years of experience as a freelance illustrator, working mainly in the publishing industry for both Italian and international clients. Her collaborations include Miscellane / Mercileslivre in Paris, iSeek Creative in Dublin, Little Hippo Books in New York, Carlsen in Hamburg, Giorgio Mondadori, Mondadori Education, Giunti, Pearson, Cetem, Fabbri/Rizzoli, Ta Chien Publishing in Taiwan, De Agostini, Raffaello, Capitello, La Scuola, Tresei, La Spiga/Eli, Conero, Coccole Books, Magicamente, and Helbling Languages in Austria.She has also collaborated with several advertising agencies and brands, including Swatch and Flik Flak, a division of the Swatch Group.As an author and illustrator, she has published several children’s books, including Naso nasino with Bruno Mondadori, and The Singing Chicks, The Three Little Pigs, and The Dream Factory with Ta Chien Publishing.Versatile and adaptable, she works across a wide range of illustration styles, using both traditional drawing techniques and digital tools.
